View through kitchen windows towards Mt Robson
Robson Pass Hut is a remote backcountry hut for the Alpine Club of Canada, located near Berg Lake in Mt. Robson Provincial Park. The timber frame structure was built by Ennadai Woodworks. Construction is nearly complete, with finishing touches scheduled for spring 2026 ahead of the public opening. Situated 22 kilometres from the nearest trailhead, the hut required all building materials and crew to be flown in by helicopter. It was carefully designed to reduce the number and frequency of flights, streamline on-site assembly with a small crew, and minimize construction waste throughout the process.
